The Three Peaks of Yorkshire.
Ingleborough.
Ingleborough
Your last climb of the day.
From Chapel-Le-Dale, you enter a land of limestone pavements, and the track leads you through some spectacular scenerary to your ultimate climb up the side of Ingleborough which is steep and rocky, and may require the odd hand on rock to assist you. This tough final climb is well worth the effort, and you will get a huge sense of achievement upon reaching the summit shelter.
The descent into Horton is easy, but much longer than you expect, with many false horizons and a couple of misleading fingerpost distances. You've cracked to challenge, now just keep the faith until you return to Horton for a well earned pint..! Well done... :-)
